Dreaming With Mozart
An original Ballet onceived, choreographed, and directed by Debra Lacey
Dreaming with Mozart is a fun and informative journey into the world
of composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Young Sofia has been given an
assignment in class to write about him, and as she delves into his life,
she takes us, the audience, along on a delightful adventure illustrated
through the medium of dance.
Students of all levels from the Napa Valley Ballet Academy perform choreography,
informed by the context of his life, to fourteen of Mozarts compositions.
Mozart lives on, and we go to school with Sofia as she invokes his spirit
through the dancers and their dances.
