Bang Bang by Antoinette Fasino
Bang Bang is a play written by Antoinette Fasino, directed by Jamie Stapel, and featuring Dino Curia, Giuliana Carr, and David Wagner. It is the third play in the Chaotic Good Collectives inaugural series on mental health and suicide prevention. When a woman (Carr) visits her younger brother (Curia) for his birthday, they find a card addressed to him from their alcoholic father (Wagner), whom they havent seen or spoken to in years. The card contains the details of a dark birthday present which will change their lives forever, for better or for worse. This is an extremely poignant piece about family, trauma, and the ways we cope with them both.
