Meet author J. Todd Scott!

The Pima Library Foundation will host author J. Todd Scott to launch the 2018-2019 season of the Circle of Book Clubs.

Scott writes in the Western Noir genre. His debut novel, THE FAR EMPTY, was published in June 2016. His current novel, HIGH WHITE SUN published this year, follows the adventures of Deputy (now Sheriff) Chris Cherry who valiantly tries to impose law in the lawless Big Bend area of the Chihuahuan Desert.

Book reviewer, Ryan Steck, describes Scott best. J. Todd Scott has a gritty writing style that lends itself quite nicely to the genre he works in. And the guy really knows his stuff too! When hes not writing crime thrillers, hes busy with his day job as a senior supervisory agent in a large DEA division. So hes not just writing and making things up as he goes Scott really lives this life, and that bleeds through in his writing.

Scott now resides in Phoenix and when hes not hunting down very bad people, hes hard at work on his next book. THIS SIDE OF NIGHT is due for publication in March 2019.
