Brew Your Beard - Grow for a Good Cause
Six Rivers Brewery is proud to partner with McKinleyville Parks and Recreation to raise money for their Teen Center by holding a Beard Growing "Contest"!
Start the year with a clean shaven face and let it grow until St. Patrick's Day - March 17th. We'll host a Beard Pageant that night at our Anniversary Party - celebrating 14 years in business.
Prizes will be awarded for Best Beard in categories like... Longest Beard, Bushiest Beard, Most Creative Beard, and more! Judging criteria to be announced...
TO SIGN UP:
Bring: Your Clean Face and $25 Registration Fee* to Six Rivers Brewery - 1300 Central Avenue in McKinleyville - during the Happiest Hours of the First 3 Days of the Year.
January 1st through January 3rd from 4pm to 6pm.
We'll take your "before" photo. First 20 people to sign up get a "swag bag" full of goodies.

- contestants must be clean shaven to start the competition
- the objective is to grow your beard - and not shave your face - until March 17, 2018
- this is a test of will and stamina! you can buy your way out of the competition by purchasing a "shaving permit" for $10
This event is all in good fun. We know Humboldt has some of the best growers, now it's time to show it!
