The New Year's Eve Beefsteak Event
Join us for a gluttonous early New Years Eve celebration! Well be honoring the late 1800s New York beefsteak dinner tradition, with our modern version. Serving an "all you can hold meal of seafood towers, shrimp cocktail, prime rib, and copious amounts of self-service wine, diners can expect plenty of food, wine and entertainment surprises!
Tickets are $175 (excluding tax & gratuity) and include all the food and wine you can consume, plus a beefsteak themed chefs hat and apron.
The tradition: "A form of gluttony as stylized and regional as the riverbank fish fry, the hot-rock clambake, or the Texas barbecue." As told by Joseph Mitchell in Up in the Old Hotel. The tradition dates back to 19th and early 20th century New York City as a past time of working class gentleman.
The event was ubiquitous for itsall-you-can-drink beer and all-you-can-eat beef. No utensils. No napkins.Eat 'til you can't anymore, and then have another plate and another pint.
The event faded away during the Prohibition era, but today beefsteaks have made a comeback in NYC. Chef Linton & Gina are excited to throw their version of a beefsteak right here in Atlanta!
