Next to Normal

Quintessence of Dust is a new theatre company from the artistic director of LezCab. Inspired by the quote from Hamlet, Quintessence of Dust (QOD) produces theatrical creations that ask challenging questions, inspire exploration and passion, expose and explore the taboo, and give voice to the underrepresented.

Our first production is a one-night-only presentation of the Pulitzer Prize-winning musical NEXT TO NORMAL. NEXT TO NORMAL will be performed as a concert/reading with actors at music stands, accompanied by a live band.

QOD's presentation of NEXT TO NORMAL will be a fundraiser for the JED Foundation, which exists to protect emotional health and prevent suicide for our nation's teens and young adults.
