Feast with the Ancestors
The Druids in Las Vegas invite our friends and neighbors from all paths to join us!
The wheel of the years turns and once again it is time to gather in the growing darkness to share a meal with our Ancestors of the Blood, Heart, and Hearth. This rite will include a FULL DINNER as part of the service.

Who: ALL ARE WELCOME
- This is a PUBLIC event
- Children under 18 MUST be accompanied by an adult
Cost: FREE
- please consider making a $10-$15 DONATION to help cover the cost of DINNER and ritual supplies
- donations are greatly appreciated and tax deductible (501c3)
Arrive: by 2:30pm
- a briefing will be given for those who've never attended an ADF-style Druid ritual before.
Ritual Begins: 3pm
- if you will be late in arriving, you're still welcome to join us but please enter the ritual space quietly
Attire:
- Casual to "Holy Day/Ritual Best" (there is no color or other type of dress code)
- this is an OUTDOOR, family friendly event with CHILDREN, please dress accordingly (the afternoon will be cool)
Bring:
- folding/camp chair (we provide seating but may run out)
- an offering/gift for a deceased loved one you'd like to honor at our feast
- a memento by which to recall them (mementos are not offerings and will be returned/can be collected at the end of the rite)
- an offering for any personal deity/patronness/patron, ancestor or recent dead you'd like to honor (a separate opportunity will be provided to address and offer to Them)
Parking: please park in DESIGNATED areas
- there's plenty of off-street parking available, but if it overflows to the street, please DO NOT BLOCK driveways or clog the cul-de-sacs.

** This is a family friendly PUBLIC RITUAL and ALL ARE WELCOME. ** Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult who assumes responsibility for their charge's actions. We are currently unable to provide childcare, so if your child is unable or uninterested in being part of the service, it may be better to leave them with a sitter for the sake of your own experience as well as those around you.
As a public event, we are not worried about your beliefs or path so long as you come to our fire with good intentions. Hospitality is our priority - a good guest gets a good host with a fervent hope that your divine Being or Beings bless you through the methods of our practice.
While attendance is FREE and open to everyone, rituals do cost money to perform. All donations are gratefully accepted and are tax deductible through the charter from our parent organization, Ár nDraíocht Féin (ADF) [a 501(c)3 charitable religious org].
All attendees are welcome to participate in the ritual as much or as little as they like; incense, oil and other items are provided to use for offerings should you forget to bring your own. However, we encourage you to bring something of your own to offer: the Deities and Ancestors, in general, appreciate the sweet smells of incense as well as alcohol and silver objects. The nature spirits love edible seeds and shiny baubles (beads, buttons, semi-precious stones, etc). All of our Kindred appreciate handmade goods and heartfelt poems and songs.
All offerings are given to the Kindreds, taking them permanently out of human use (burned or otherwise eliminated/destroyed). A greeter and the Presiding Druid can direct you on how best to make your patrticular offering, as well as the appropriate time to do so.
