"Snake In The Grass" by Alan Ayckbourn
Center Stage Community Theatre is proud to announce its final show of the 2017 season. Snake in the Grass is by British playwright, Alan Ayckbourn. Known for his acerbic humor, in Snake in the Grass, Ayckbourn tells the story of Miriam who has cared for her elderly father for years with assistance from a quiet nurse, Alice. With the death of the father, Miriam's older sister Annabel returns from living in Tasmania to find her father has left his estate to her. Alice then reveals that she has evidence proving that Miriam killed her father. Annabel and Miriam unite against Alice. A suspense drama about, blackmail and murder there is much depth to this story. Ayckbourn has woven a creepy, entertaining story with supernatural overtones. The cast includes Sally Carter, Susan Rardin and Lisa Warner. It is directed by Cheryl Fesmire. The play opens October 20th and runs through November 5th, every Friday and Saturday night at 7:30 and Sunday afternoons at 2:30. Tickets are $15 for adults and $13 for senior adults and students. Call 894-5587 for reservations and tickets. This show is recommended for those 13 and older.
