The Hyperloop: Promises and Challenges
A growing number of companies are reinventing transportation with a bold concept called Hyperloop. Rapidly emerging interest and technology progress domestically and internationally in high-speed tube transportation has captured the imagination of developers, researchers, and investors. This event will answer the toughest technology and policy questions. We will assemble distinguished experts to address the economic impact, the complexity of integrating capabilities with existing transportation infrastructure, as well as the current state of public support and political will for this disruptive technology. While much research remains, there is a compelling business case highlighted by strong government, academic, and commercial interest. Our panelists bring deep experience from a range of disciplines and will present the case for this transportation innovation in the 21st century.
By attending this event you will have the opportunity to:
- Learn the greatest challenges and advances facing the tube transportation industry - Explore new ideas, and network with leading futurists and Hyperloop developers - Understand the contribution of Hyperloop to national security and defense imperatives - Meet the HARP family of leaders, entrepreneurs, economists, and scientists
HARP is a nonprofit professional association focused on the support, education, and research to advance this transportation technology. HARP has hosted similar events in Denver and Houston this year, convening leading transportation visionaries and policy experts to shape the future of high-speed tube transportation through public, private, and academic partnerships.
