RUBYYY JONES WORKSHOP DAY
We are so exxxited to announce that Rubyyy Jones will be holding 2 very special workshops on Oct 29th in Glasgow the day after she headlines The Glitter & Grind Revue. Classes are £20 each or you can do both for £30!!!!

Classes are open to all gender and sexualities and expressions that are 18+. Spaces are limited in each class so please book in advance to avoid disappointment.
FAAACE W/ RUBYYY JONES:

So many performers struggle with giving full face and showing the range and the depth of expression they feel, and I so often hear: I Always Think I'm Giving Lots Of Face And Then I See The Pic/Videos And I'm Making One Or Two Faces!
Presentinnng... A two hour masterclass in just that: facefaceface, character building, body language, marvellous movement and how it all extends from face and understanding of character!
Using exercises and various fabulous forms of feedback, Rubyyy will help you to up your glamour game and performance prowess with tools you can take away and use in your own rehearsals and live performances!
Suitable for all levels, this is about play, exploring and improvising around veryyy basic choreography!

NASTY WOMYYYN:

In times of darkness, confusion and anger it's important to find ways to channel our feelings, energise healing and ground our ascending spirits; this class will be a shake up for the system, combining burlesque, full body exercises and a powerful meditative cool down.
Class Running Order:
The first hour will include warm up, deeper stretching, calisthenics, group exercises and filthy fun!
The second hour we will do a routine to a Nastyyy song to really get everything out and flowing!
The class will end with a visualisation and breathing section for centering you for the world. You're Welcome!
This class uses burlesque to bring balance to your mind, body and soul and will touch on/use burlesque basics but is NOT an introduction to the art form specifically. This is about getting in your body, out of your head and over yourself so you can get into yourself!

121 PRIVATE CLASS
PRICE & TIMES TBC w/ Rubyyy
Rubyyy will also be availabe for consultation sessions and private 121 tuition when the all above classes arent happening. In this 121 session you can work on a specific act, character and persona, choreography or anything else you would like to develop about your on stage act. If you are interested in this please email Rubyyy Jones @ rubyyyenquiry@gmail.com with the Subject "121 Oct 29th" stating what you would like to work with Rubyyy and wether you prefer a morning hour slot or an afternoon slot. Payment for this class will be made through paypal or bacs transfer direct to Rubyyy.
WHO IS RUBYYY JONES???
Rubyyy is an international powerhouse, political, body positive queerlesque performer based in London but hailing originally from Canada. She is a driving force of the queer burlesque scene in London and internationally with her strong thought provoking acts and her unashamed, fearless and hysterical neo burlesque acts flip feminism on its pretty head and subverts all that we once knew about burlesque. Recently she was crowned "most innovative" at the Burlesque Hall of Fame in Las Vegas and was voted once again in the TOP 20 UK performers of 2016 as well as being voted in the TOP 50 Burlesque WORLDWIDE!!!!
