Nevenka and The Swing Riots Quirktette at Club Fais Do-do
Nevenka sings traditional Eastern European songs with a twist! In the mix are Cabaret-style Roma, Greek and Albanian tunes, along with Ukrainian, Georgian, and Bulgarian songs.
The Swing Riots acoustic quirktette performs an irreverant gumbo of "Gypsy" Jazz, Romanian Horas, New Orleans Funeral Marches, Parisian Bal Musette, Russian Cabaret, Klezmer Freylekhs, Swing Standards & the occasional wild, flying monkey.
The two groups will join together on a few tunes.
