CHICHA LIBRE and Friends, at Pioneer Works. Friday November 21st.
With Los Crema Paraiso, Sonido Chichadelico and special guests.
Blame it on Spotify, or the state of the Argentinean economy. Blame it on Russian pirates and the fear of erupting volcanoes. Blame it on the Polar Vortex, careless airlines (yes, we mean you, Swiss Air, Lufthansa and US airways). Blame it on geographical differences among band members (India vs Brooklyn vs Virginia). Whatever the case may be, Chicha Libre needs a nap.
So Chicha Libre is throwing a party - a last cumbion you could call it - and then going to sleep for an undetermined amount of time.
When we wake up will depend on whimsical creatures, or the collapse of the NY real estate market, or possibly sacks of gold. Check on us every once in a while.
This will be an exciting party, with our friends Los Crema Paraiso, DJ Sonido Chichadelico and special guests DBA. There will also be a Peruvian food truck in the beautiful garden.
