A dance-based theater piece inspired by the #YesAllWomen Twitter campaign exploring feminine strength and vulnerability as equal parts of a beautiful whole as seen through the lens of women, men and the media.
About Contradiction Dance:
Contradiction Dance is a place where dance, theatre, and pop culture meet. Nurtured on the belief that artists and audience members communicate in a dialogue through the chosen medium, Contradiction Dance fosters discussion, reflection, and change, ultimately creating an exchange between life and dance.
About Anacostia Arts Center:
Anacostia Arts Center is a project of ARCH Development Corporation, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the revitalization and sustainable economic development of Historic Anacostia. The Anacostia Arts Center is 9,300 square feet and includes a 1000 square feet Black Box Theater; five galleries/boutiques; a lounge area that includes a short term exhibition gallery; and Nürish Food + Drink.
