GLO 2014 (Green Light One-Acts)
Green Light Productions is LA's newest company dedicated to exclusively producing plays written and directed BY WOMEN. After 12 years in Philadelphia and NYC, Green Light relocated to Los Angeles. GLO (Green Light One-Acts) is our west coast premiere.
ABOUT THE GLO 2014 PLAYS:
"Femme Noir" by Allie Costa. Directed by Ricka Fisher. In 1944, a notorious playboy hires Ruby Russell, a tough as nails female P.I., to solve a murder.
WRITER- Allie Costa works in film, TV, and theatre as a writer, director, actress, and singer. Her play Little Swan, a Pas de Deux was named Best of PlayGround-LA 2014 and subsequently published.
DIRECTOR- Ricka Fisher is a veteran executive with over 40 years of television and theatre experience. As Director of Development, she oversaw the $70 million capital campaign to build the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts.

"Sisters Lunching by the Seaside" by Julianne Homokay. Directed by Katherine James. Clytemnestra and Helen of Troy debate the demise of Greek civilization- over lunch.
WRITER- Julianne Homokay is a Los Angeles-based playwright, the Co-founder/Managing Director of North By South Theatre Los Angeles and also works on "The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson."
DIRECTOR- Katherine James is a director, actor and playwright and co-founder of Act of Communication: Consultants in the Art of Advocacy. She is also the Artistic Director of Free Association Theatre.
Featuring: James Singleton, Marie Stahl & Amy Stoch
"Buying a House" by Jennie Webb. Directed by Jen Bloom. A dark comedy about money, women and place, in that order.
WRITER- Jennie Webb is a resident playwright at Rogue Machine (Yard Sale Signs), Theatricum Botanicum (Botanicum Seedlings) and co-founder of the LA Female Playwrights Initiative (LA FPI).
DIRECTOR- Jen Bloom has worked with Chalk Rep, Rogue Machine, Theatricum Botanicum and the LA Playwrights Union. She is the Artistic Director of The Santa Monica Rep and a faculty member at AMDA College and Conservatory of Performing Arts.
Featuring: Rebecca Davis, D.J. Harner & Skip Pipo
"Juiced" by Alex Dilks Pandola. Directed by Liz Hinlein. A cold-pressed comedy about a juice cleanse bachelorette party.
WRITER- Alex Dilks Pandola is a writer/producer, founder and Artistic Director of Green Light Productions, and the Director of Development at the Los Angeles Youth Orchestra.
DIRECTOR- Liz Hinlein is an award winning director and director of photography who has directed and shot features (Other People's Children), commercials, music videos, web series, reality TV and short films.
