All Souls tour of St Bartholomew's the Great
Next to the Tower of London, this is the most ancient relic in town. St Bart's is steeped in wonderful history and has a potent, extraordinary atmosphere. You can easily imagine ghosts of the past drifting through its heavy Norman arches. So impressive is the building that it has been used in countless Hollywood blockbusters: Elizabeth, Shakespeare in Love and Four Weddings and a Funeral to name just a few. A tour of this fabulous church, followed by drinks, canapés or dinner in the cloister is an unforgettably atmospheric experience.
-The cost of this event includes contributions to St Bartholomew's and admin fees. If you'd rather send a cheque of £38, please make one out to Art History UK and post it to 148 Sulgrave Road, London, W67PU. -If you cancel within a week of the event, half the cost of the tour will be refunded (£19).
