Primitive Urges - Moore, Hepworth and Epstein on Valentine's Day
On this Art Shot we shall be exploring the work by 3 artistic titans that defined modern sculpture in the 20th century. Each affected by the devastating effects of the 2 world wars, we shall discuss how each of these artists tried to redefine beauty, truth, love and the human sprit. We shall be looking at Moore's curvaceous females, Hepworth's sensual forms inspired by Cornwall's picturesque coastline and Epstein's fascination with the primitive civilisations
