Leighton House Museum on Mother's Day
Frederic Lord Leighton's wildly opulent house in Holland Park is an absolute must see and the perfect place for a private tour or event. A piece of art in its own right, the house vibrates with organic decoration, including an indoor fountain, a sensuous Arab Hall, gold gilded ceilings, stunning Damescene tiles and beautiful drawings and paintings by Leighton and his circle. Embodying the Victorian ideals of aesthetics and 'art for art's sake' the house has been recently (and meticulously) restored.
-The cost of this event includes contributions to all entrance fees into Leighton House and admin fees.
If you'd rather send a cheque of £42, please make one out to Art History UK and post it to 148 Sulgrave Road, London, W67PU.
-If you cancel within a week of the event, half the cost of the tour will be refunded (£21). If you cancel within 24 hours of the tour, we regret that we will not be able to refund any of the cost.
-Please note that we can only run this tour if we have an attendance of 5 people. If we have to cancel the tour we will give a week's notice.
