SFIF2010 Presents: HAROLD: Longform Improv Weekend
The San Francisco Improv Festival kicks off its 2010 season with a two-day workshop of longform improvisational theater with James Grace, Artistic Director of IO West, the West Coast training ground for the legendary IO Theater.
In a weekend of improv practice best experienced in full (although individual workshops may be purchased), Grace will present students with a comprehensive introduction and workout of the Harold longform improv structure, as developed by Del Close, Charna Halpern, and the IO Theater.
Day One (Saturday, 12-4pm): The Harold: Basics
Day Two (Sunday, 12-4pm): The Harold: What About It? Deeper Levels
Each four-hour workshop is geared to intermediate and advanced level improvisers.
