Spookfest: Turn of the Screw
Do ghosts really exist, or are they the product of some overactive imagination? You the audience will decide the answer as Carol Weakland performs Henry James supernatural thriller, The Turn of the Screw.
Ms. Weakland will enact the tale of an untried governess that finds herself face to face with twin phantoms of evil who seek to control the seemingly angelic children in her charge. Can she save them, or will she be drawn into the depths of madness before the tale reaches its unsettling conclusion? Henry James leaves the answer entirely in the hands of his readers. On October 24th and 31st those who attend the Main Street Theater in Columbiana will decide the truth.
