Eastlake Fall Cruise on the Islander, Thurs., Sept. 18, 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.

The Eastlake Community Council and Champagne Cruises invite you to the Eastlake Fall Cruise on historic icebreaker the Islander -- Thursday, Sept. 18. Cruise Lake Union and Lake Washington with your friends and neighbors. Boarding begins at 5:30 p.m. at 1611 Fairview Ave. E. Departure at 6:30, return by 8:30.

Tickets are $25, and include dinner, salad, and dessert (vegetarian options available). There is a cash bar (no credit cards accepted on board).

Kids up to 6 years old are free, but only if pre-registered by sending an e-mail with their names and ages to info@eastlakeseattle.org (needed so that the cruise company and Coast Guard have an accurate pre-count of all passengers, even those not needing tickets). Purchase tickets on this web site; over the counter at the 220 Nickerson Street offices of Brown Paper Tickets; or at the dock between 5:30 p.m. and the 6:30 departure (cash or check only for ticket sales at the dock). At the cruise, we will be accepting donated items for the University District Food Bank, which serves Eastlake and nearby neighborhoods. The Food Bank is especially short of non-perishable food items and toiletries (bar soap, deodorant, toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, toilet paper, safety razors).
