Love, Sex and the IRS
Love, Sex and The IRS; We are all involved in the trio in some shape or form at any point in our life. Jon Trachtman and Leslie Arthur are out of work musicians who room together in New York City; Jon the leader of the band is so busy trying to find their band a booking that his fiancée, Kate Dennis feels neglected and starts an affair with Leslie. To save money Jon has been claiming a tax exemption for Leslie as his wife until the IRS decides to take a closer look. The way out is for Leslie to play Jon's wife That may work for the IRS man but Jon and Leslie live in an apartment building that does not permit unmarried couples and is run by a nosy landlord Floyd Spinner who keeps an eye out for live-in females. Complicating matters further, Jon's mother Vivian Trachtman drops in unexpectedly to meet her son's fiancée, and Leslie's still in the loop, maybe still or ex-girlfriend shows up demanding to know why Leslie won't see her anymore.
