Diba Ensemble: Aref Qazvini by Farid Kheradmand
Diba's first show is a narration of the life and works of Aref Qazvini, Iran's National Poet. Aref's works, both in music and literature, are great reflections of the sociopolitical scene of Iran in the late 19th and early 20th century. We will tell Aref's story from the beginning to the end, as narrated by Farid Kheradmand. The show as well includes 10 pieces of Aref's most masterfully written tasnif's, arranged by band members.
