Chicago Rarities Orchard Project Harvest Dinner
Celebrate the diversity of Midwestern foods and benefit biodiversity by indulging in an apple centric, seasonal menu of locally produced cheese, meats and produce inventively presented by Chicago native Jason Ball. Innovative dishes like savory apple tartine will showcase ingredients donated by local farmers and producers such at Earth First Farms, City Farm, Growing Power, Nice Cream and Glazed Donuts. Set in the relaxed and tasteful Birchwood Kitchen, this evening offers the opportunity to mingle with farmers, activists, and like minded diners. Participate in the silent auction of ingredients from the menu to go home with a culinary treasure.
