Bomb the Walls: A Graffiti Tour of East London
Located a stones throw from the financial district of the City we'll explore the streets around Brick Lane and Shoreditch, transformed over the years by immigration: from 17th century Huguenot textile factories to the birth of 'Bangalatown' in the 1970s. Here we'll uncover some of London's greatest street art - vibrant, whacky graffiti that speaks volumes of the creative genius that has bubbled in the East End of London over the past few decades. Some of these works are so small that you could walk past them everyday and never see them. Others are sprawling, colourful murals sprayed across the urban landscape. Ever changing, law-breaking and anti-establishment, the street art found in the East End is amongst one of London's greatest hidden treasures.
