Designing for the Spirit
Pietro Belluschi, Johnpaul Jones and the Confluence Project
Architecture is more than just bricks and mortar. Design creates space for the spirit.
The Confluence Project invites you to enjoy a compelling discussion about the role of design in our lives at a beautiful Pacific Northwest mid-century modern home by Portland's own Pietro Belluschi. Architect Anthony Belluschi will speak about his father's legacy of designs reflecting his celebration of the human spirit and sensitivity to our precious environment. Johnpaul Jones, who was recently awarded a National Humanities Medal by President Obama and was previously a Pietro Belluschi Distinguished Visiting Professor at the University of Oregon, will connect Belluschi's work with his own, including the Confluence Project's Land Bridge in Vancouver.
Tickets can be purchased for $100 each here or by mailing a check to Confluence Project: 1701 Broadway #144, Vancouver, WA 98663
Each ticket and contribution doubles your impact by matching an Oregon Community Foundation challenge grant. We hope you can join us! Thank you for your support.
