Edison Park Comedy Fest 09 @ Moretti's

First Annual Edison Park Comedy Festival October 22nd - 25th 2009.

Beginning Thursday October 22nd and running through Sunday the 25th. The Fest will feature 20 of Chicago's best Stand-Up Comedians performing in four venues in Edison Park and nearby Park Ridge. Each show will consist of a different line-up of comedians.

The Fest is set to kick off at Uncle Dan's Pizza and Pub (27 S. Northwest Hwy., Park Ridge, IL) Thursday the 22nd at 9pm (doors open at 8:30pm) and will be headlined by Prescott Tolk, who has appeared on Comedy Central's Premium Blend. The Chicago Reader dubbed him a Critic's Choice and Time Out Chicago called him a "Don't Miss."

From there the Festival heads to The Emerald Isle (6715 N. Olmsted, Chicago) on the 23rd, where the show will star neighborhood favorite Joe Kilgallon, whose credits include the University of Notre Dame and 97.9 FM The Loop.

Saturday night, the comedy moves around the corner to Edison Park Inn (6686 N. Northwest Hwy, Chicago) where Yes I Am Show Business founder Tony Valle will headline the festival's third night. Valle has performed across the country including Las Vegas, LA, and New York.

The Festival's finale will be Sunday at Moretti's with the comedians of Red Bar Radio, (www.Redbarradio.com) One of the internets most popular podcasts.

Each show will start at 9pm (doors open at 8:30pm) and all four venues include full bar and kitchen.

Tickets are $12 at the door; $10 in advance and $30 for a weekend pass (all four shows).
