Elroy Jenkins, the patriarch of the Jenkin family, is coping with losing the love of his life, Elizabeth Jenkins. He has become a resident of his granddaughter's home, Nia. While there he discovers that Nia has some shady practices and lands her a job with a struggling Psychiatrist, Dr. Stevens. Smitten by Dr. Stevens, he arranges counseling for all those dear to him and disclosed all of their dirty laundry. Dr. Stevens is searching whole heartedly for love, but will she find it in the arms of Elroy?

An unexpected guest enters her world and the emotional roller coaster begins. She is tested by today's socioeconomic and emotional issues from failed love, prostitution, gambling, and abuse through the eyes of her clients and must use her wit, charm, and most importantly her spiritual guidance to steer the lives of these people in the right direction.
