Nunsense
Winner of four Outer Critics Circle Awards including Best Off-Broadway Musical in its original New York production, this hilarious romp follows the efforts of the Little Sisters of Hoboken to raise money to bury the 52 sisters accidentally poisoned by the convent cook, Sister Julia-Child-of-God. Streetwise Sister Robert Anne & Sisters Amnesia, Leo and Hubert put on a show under the direction of former circus performer Mother Superior.
The show's powerful harmonies sound heavenly in the blended voices of the StageDoor cast: Julie Ballard, BJ Gerhard, Emily Nelson Musser, Cindy Walker and Amy Bergevin, under the direction of Bill Loper. Nunsense is the second longest running Off-Broadway musical after The Fantasticks.
