"The Mousetrap"
For over 56 years, Agatha Christie's "The Mousetrap" has been thrilling audiences in London's West End, earning a spot in the "Guiness Book of World Records" as the longest running play in the history of theatre. Since its premiere in 1952, "The Mousetrap" has performed over 24,000 times and has transferred to several theaters without ending its run. The current "permanent" home of "the Mousetrap" is at the St. Martin Theater, but you don't have to travel across the Atlantic Ocean to enjoy it--"The Mousetrap" will play at the Visual and Performing Arts Center on the campus of Southeastern Oklahoma State University in Durant, OK, December 3--5 as part of Theatre at Southeastern's annual Holiday Dinner Theatre. At the end of each performance, the audience is asked to keep "The Mousetrap's" plot a secret; so to find out more about this legendary show, call for reservations and plan on starting your holiday in a "mysterious" and entertaining way!
