Legends of Courage Golf Tournament
Legends of Courage was created to help capture and preserve the stories and voices of the men and women who fought for LGBT equality and helped build our Sacramento LGBT community. The series is produced/directed by 3D Media Solutions Dawn Deason. The first documentary features pioneering lesbian activist & attorney Rosemary Metrailer.
Dawn Deason is donating a great portion of her time and talent towards this project and a large portion of filming has already occurred. But, more funds are needed to defray the costs and to cover editing expenses. So, we decided to do a GOLF TOURNAMENT. This is going to be a fantastic event, not only to raise funds for this project, but to have a great time golfing with lots of amazing folks! Here are the details:
When: Saturday September 20, 2014
Time: 4 p.m. - 9 p.m. (approximate)
What: Two rounds of 9 with a BBQ/prize dinner in between. The first round will be competitive play with prizes for winning teams, longest drive, closest to the pin, etc. The second round will be glow ball golf! Glow ball is a blast and we hope everyone will stay to experience it!
Cost: $65 per golfer
Where: Bradshaw Ranch Golf Course
