Cover crops: Winter Wheat, Austrian field peas, fava beans, buckwheat, crimson clover, vetch...Why? How do I choose???
And finally, how to grow ASPARAGUS and ARTICHOKES-- Seed? Spidery starts? Sand? Purple? Green?
Bring questions. Bring issues. Bring notepad.
About the Instructor: Sally Anne Sadler owner of Shooting Star Gardens, taught Horticulture and Urban Food Gardening with WSU for 8 years. Farmer, teacher and gardener for life. (and a proud member of the Seattle Farm Co-op!).
