Plays and Players Theatre presents Part II of "The Seven Deadly Sins" by Cabaret Red Light... "THE OCCUPATION!"
With the growing possibility of an insurgency, not to mention good old-fashioned piracy, Cabaret Red Light launches Phase Two of its takeover of legitimate theater (Operation Panty Drop). Critics agree: "Just like The Sound of Music, but with strippers!"
Including guest performances by Paolo Garbanzo,Jim Boyle (The Waitstaff), Melissa Bang-Bang, and Heather Henderson, as well as Jay Davidson and Chris Aschman of Philly funk band BuddaDadda!
Cabaret Red Light is a mix of original music, dark comedy, puppet theater and revival burlesque in the spirit of the decadent 1920s. While each performance features an entirely new line-up, all Red Light shows are composed in equal parts (and near-fatal doses) of barefaced agitprop and bare naked flesh.
