enROOT

enROOT is a cooperative of Seattle dance artists who will be presenting an evening of new dance works on November 21st and 22nd 2014 8:00 pm PST at Velocity Founders Theater at 1621 12th Ave, Seattle, WA 98122.

enROOT will feature 11 Seattle dance artists and their work. The aim of enROOT is to catalyze working artists in Seattle by serving as a platform to advance their work while simultaneously creating a community of individuals who contribute through a cooperative effort to produce dance. The title "enroot" encompasses the vision to advance, evolve, expand, grow, and progress for the artists, and the desire to enroot meaning into the minds of our viewers. The artists of enROOT hope to bring thought-provoking new dance works to its audience that will cause viewers to leave with questions, but feeling empowered to find answers. The enROOT production aims to affect our Seattle community in a positive way, and to impact everyone who will be a part of the enROOT experience.

The enROOT choreographers are Althea Fantast, Alyza DelPan-Monley, Angelica DeLashmette, Corina Iona Dalzell, Dana Stream, Kathryn Hightower, Kimberly Holloway, Kori Martodam, and Ktisk contemporary dance.
