Art Improv Workshop - June
ART IMPROV OVERVIEW
This workshop is a blend of improv principles and creative wisdom with a party game twist. You will laugh a lot, learn tricks for recapturing curiosity, and meet new people. You'll also leave Art Improv with a framed piece of art that is personally meaningful.
You'll meet other people who are interested in being more playfully creative, and you'll walk away with a refreshed perspective on your own creative outlet(s).
WHAT YOU NEED FOR ART IMPROV
You. That's it. If you really want to bring something, snag two tickets and bring a friend!
You don't need any previous art technique experience. We won't be relying on traditional methods and there's no way to make a mistake. Imperfection and experimentation are enthusiastically encouraged!
You don't need to identify as a creative person to enjoy this workshop. It's cool if you have a box or two of half-finished projects from hobbies that just didn't take. It's ok if the closest you've come to making anything recently is pinning crafty ideas on Pinterest.

A FEW THINGS YOU MIGHT WANT TO KNOW ABOUT ART IMPROV: 1. I'm an improv school dropout. There's no performance involved in Art Improv, no pressure to say magic somethings and be amazing.
2. I'm an art school dropout. There's zero emphasis on fine art techniques. This is playful creativity. We'll clash our colors and smudge our papers on purpose. 3. We'll throw tradition out the window and experiment. There's no perfect way to do any of this. We'll make a mess and have a great time doing it!
WHY ART IMPROV
We overplan. We overthink. We gobble up and hoard information for that one day in the fuzzy future when we have time/skill/opportunity. We busy ourselves with the online world while distancing ourselves from in-person experience. I know. I do it, too.
Art Improv is relief from Ordinary Bullshit, from day-to-day blah blah blah, and the feeling of disconnection from simple joy.
Art Improv is A workshop offered by Andrea Lewicki of The Lewicki Agency aimed at changing these stories. The Lewicki Agency was created to get more people in touch with the the kind of personal freedom that only creative activity can provide.
