The Weirdo Show!
The Weirdo Show prides itself on the diversity of its performers and acts, with this month being no different! Well, a little different. This month is a little more towards the dangerous and daring! Let's meet the performers!
Katie Did is a whip cracking, fire eating, ukulele playing, daredevil defender of variety goodness that can be found performing in the DC/MD/VA area. Always sweet, always stunning, all rolled into one alabaster package with diverse abilities. Whether it's singing a couple of tunes, breaking the sound barrier, or setting herself ablaze, you'll never know what this unpredictable beauty will do next.
Hot Todd Lincoln is a Baltimore based emcee and producer in the greater Washington, DC area. He connects with audiences using dry wit, bad puns, and snappy suits to create a convivial atmosphere. But on this night, he will delve into danger!
We here at the Weirdo Show are excited to see Kat Von C bring her touring Freak Sideshow to the Bier Baron stage. Displaying classic sideshow stunts that will leave you shocked and amazed, she is also bringing a friend with her to help entertain, lets just hope you aren't afraid of a little snake...
Ryan F. Downey is going to be adding something new to this month's show! In the days of the midway, it wasn't uncommon to have a stand-up comedian entertain a crowd, and we have a great one for this show! Four years of comedy in the District and going strong, you better hold onto your seats otherwise you'll be rolling on the floor.
The Weirdo Show is very excited to have Reggie Bügmüncher this month! Philadelphia's Queen of Sideshow, she is the co-owner/operator of Philadelphia's Olde City Sideshow. She has been performing in the Variety Arts, across the country, for almost a decade. Reggie produces a monthly show in Philly and coordinates workshops for performance artists at her studio and rehearsal space, The First Banana. Reggie has been written about and interviewed for numerous publications from CARNY SIDESHOWS: WEIRD WONDERS OF THE MIDWAY, by Tony Gangi and Marianne Bernstein's book, Tatted and numerous Tattoo magazines including Tattoos for Women, Tattoo Revue and others, The Philadelphia City Paper The Philadelphia Inquirer and countless reporting outlets including NPR.
As always, that man with the silver tongue will be your host: Professor Sprocket!
This show is going to be the one you don't want to miss folks! So come one, come all to The Weirdo Show!
