Why: We cook, you eat, it's fun and delicious
Who: Doomed Legumes Productions is a platform for creative assemblage of foods and art by siblings/chefs, Sam Paulding & Tracy Cates. The name, "Doomed Legumes" comes from a long-dormant and silly project featuring a series of comical drawings of produce in various states of demise.
Our May pop-up is all about comfort. Unctuous from start to finish, with fresh, seasonal ingredients to brighten every course.
May Menu
Crispy pork belly spiced with Calabrian chiles, served with avocado and a salad of bitter greens
Beef cheeks braised in Barbera on top of creamy polenta served with brocolli rabe, garlic greens and fresh herbs
Chocolate, walnut, olive oil torte served with prosecco sabayon and fresh, local berries
Our June menu is inspired by South American flavors.
June Menu
Tres-chiles duck wings and blood orange dipping sauce, with a chopped salad of jicama, green papaya, and kumquats
Pork loin, cooked sous vide, with tomatillo cream sauce, served with Argentinean blackened beets and fennel, with goat cheese, garlic chips, and pepitos.
Dulce de leche flan

**Paulding & Company, in Emeryville, is a wide open space where people regularly gather to cook together for team buildings, parties, and summer camps. The dining room is an extension of the kitchen, so you will feel like you are part of the action. The atmosphere is casual, jovial, and inclusive.
