Maine Historical Society 192nd Annual Meeting
Join Maine Historical Society for an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at our new Collections Management Center at 1000 Riverside Street, Portland. This building will transform our ability to preserve and manage the collections that are at the center of our work and will free important new public spaces in our museum and library. We want to share the exciting unveiling of the remodeled building with every one of you. The meeting will feature a keynote presentation by renowned state historian Earle G. Shettleworth: A Changing Cityscape, Late 19th Century Photographs of the Congress Street Corridor by Philip Greely Brown. Participants will also have the choice of a walking tour of Riverton Trolley Park or a tour of Allagash Brewing Co., both neighbors of MHS's new facility. Space on the brewery tour is limited. Call to reserve your place. 207-774-1822
