Little City Concerts Season Ticket
This ticket will be good for entry to all four of our concert events on the 24/25 season, which include:
9/20: Nen Daiko, a taiko ensemble from Fairfax Station. Taiko ensembles are part of a Japanese musical tradition featuring groups of drummers known for their powerful, dynamic performances that combine drumming, movement, and a strong sense of visual spectacle.
11/22: Mary Voutsas and Friends, A Tribute for Trans-Remembrance: In Memory of Sam Nordquist. Featuring works by inti figgis-vizueta (with the composer in attendance), an adaptation of Faures Requiem (feat. Nik Francis, percussion, and Kirby the Drag Queen, clarinet), and selections from Liszts Poetic & Religious Harmonies with live painting by Zhenya Parish.
2/21: Bridge Voices performs David Lang's Pulitzer Prize winning work The Little Match Girl Passion. Lang's powerful work, for four singers playing percussion instruments, weaves the popular Hans Christian Anderson story together with texts from Bach's St Matthew Passion.
4/18: 9th Street Quartet performs Kevin Puts "Home", a piece inspired by the European refugee crisis. Other works include a premiere by composer Stephen Gorbos.
All concerts take place at The Falls Church (Episcopal), 166 E Broad St (accessible parking lot and entrance closest to the hall), at 7:30pm (doors open at 7:15).
Season ticket holders will check in at the box office prior to each performance.
