Breshears String Trio
Featured twice as the Violin Channel's Rising Star of the Week, the Breshears String Quartet, also known as Stars Aligned Siblings / Little Stars Trio, is hailed as "quickly building an international following as an emerging young ensemble of enormous potential". The prodigious all-sibling string quartet ages 11, 14, 16, and 17-years-old, has won numerous awards in chamber music, including 1st Prize in the 2023 Piero Farulli International Competition for Young String Quartets, the Gold Medal in the Saint Paul String Quartet Competition, the Silver Medal in the 2024 Fischoff Chamber Music Competition, among many more both international and within the USA.

The Breshears siblings have appeared on NBC TV's Little Big Shots with host Steve Harvey and on ITV's Little Big Shots in the U.K.  They have toured internationally at festivals and events in the United Kingdom, Italy, Argentina, Mexico, and in the United States. They have performed as soloists and as a quartet at Iguazú en Concierto Festival in Argentina and at Festival Alfonso Ortiz Tirado in Mexico, Festival Napa Valley, and the Bear Valley Music Festival.  They have performed for corporate events such as WNDR22 in Montecito, CA and Workday Rising 2022 in Orlando, Florida. Breshears String Quartet also performs for community outreach events such as the National Guild for Community Arts Education Conference, Classics 4 Kids, and for Steinway Society sponsored outreach to local schools in their community.

The quartet is once again becoming a trio, as 18-year old Dustin Jr. goes off to college! In addition to their chamber music awards, the Breshears Quartet siblings have also received 1st Place in numerous solo competitions. They have performed individually as soloists with over twelve different orchestras since the ages of six. The Breshears String Quartet has performed virtual concerts in Paris, Argentina, and has performed on programs hosted by Christopher O'Riley and Gil Shaham. The quartet was featured on NPR's From The Top, Episode 398, and also on From The Top's virtual concert in a history-making performance as the only all-sibling string quartet to have ever appeared on the show.

The Breshears String Quartet is currently coached by Eugene Chukhlov and Sergei Riabtchenko. The quartet was previously taught and mentored by Ayke Agus, violin protégé and accompanist of the legendary, Jascha Heifetz. Additionally, all four siblings attend the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, Pre-College Division.
