Bloomin' Beerfest
The 3rd Annual Bloomin' Beerfest is a unique event that combines the fine, old, Irish tradition of Bloomsday, with the fine, new, American tradition of a beer tasting.
The name Bloomsday derives from Leopold Bloom, the protagonist of James Joyce's novel, Ulysses. June 16th was the day in 1904 on which the events in Ulysses were set. Bloomsday is celebrated in Ireland and throughout the world by Irish people, and Joyce fans alike.

WHERE: The Irish Cultural Center, 1106 N. Central Ave. Phoenix, AZ. The Roosevelt Light Rail Station is just steps from the gate.
The 3rd Annual Bloomin' Beerfest will feature: A varietal sampling from 11 Arizona Breweries, produced and poured by members of The Arizona Craft Brewers Guild.
Readings from James Joyce's novel, Ulysses, will be performed throughout the evening.
