The WDC Annual concert features the three performance groups of the WDC: drumHeart, Djembe Diyamu and Women Who Groove. Each group will present a unique and energizing performance. In addition the concert will include performances by three guest performance groups: Taikolalboratve, Pan Handlers Steel Drum Band and Afrocontigbo. ASL interpretation will be provided. In addition to the concert there will be several special features: a silent auction offering unique, beautiful and valuable items, a "Percussion Petting Zoo" where attendees will have the opportunity to try out a variety of instruments. Finally pre-show performances on unique instruments including tongue drums, gyils and native flutes. Doors open at 6:00 for pre-show performances and silent auction viewing. The program is family friendly, begins at 7:00 and lasts 90 minutes with no intermission.
