East Van Sax Quartet - Concert in the Garden
The East Van Sax Quartet, based in Vancouver, BC, has been playing together in one form or another since 2007. Current members include:
Mike Spindloe - soprano sax
Daniel Seguin - alto sax
Greg Kennedy - tenor sax
Topher Johnston - baritone sax
We are excited to be presenting an outdoor concert on Sunday, August 18th, at the home of Aubin and David van Berckel, featuring a program of original music written for sax quartet, as well as arrangements of classical, jazz and pop standards. The performance will take place in a magical garden amphitheatre, amongst the vines and orchards of this beautiful property in full summer splendor.
The garden opens at 4:30 pm; concert begins at 5:00 pm, running approximately one hour.
Please note that the natural terrain is uneven and good walking shoes are recommended. Audience seating is on grass/stone benches or lawn; please bring a pillow, blanket or lawn chair if desired. Street parking is available. Please carpool when possible.
