Homeschooler Days: August Afternoon Program

This month's topic: Creatures of the Mud: Wetland Monitoring with Macroinvertebrates

What can we learn by digging around in the murky depths of our tidal wetland? More than you might expect! We'll learn how to identify the invertebrates that we might encounter, and we'll research our wetland's water quality by analyzing the species we uncover in the muck.

Homeschooler Days serve homeschooled students, ages 5 to 13, and meets monthly with morning and afternoon sessions to choose from. This year's topics range from geology to color theory, from designing our own cities to creating moss-filled terrariums!

Schedule: 2nd Wednesday of every month. Morning session takes place from 10 am to noon. Afternoon session takes place from 1 pm to 3 pm.

Pre-registration is required. Admission is $10 per child or free for Bartram Members. Non-members may pre-pay via Brown Paper Tickets, or pay at the door.
