Save GSUPEP Stakeholder Symposium
Join GSUPEP graduates and Georgia's leaders to find collaborative solutions to keep GSUPEP alive.
What is GSUPEP? GSUPEP services 2 state prisons, 1 federal prison, and children in juvenile facilities to help them obtain their associate's degrees, take credit-bearing courses, and complete the Accuplacer.
Programs like GSUPEP are associated with a 43% reduction in recidivism. For every dollar spent on PEP programs, taxpayers save $4-5. These programs are vital for the state of Georgia. GSUPEP is one of three degree-seeking programs in the state, and losing this program would have detrimental consequences. With the 4th highest incarceration rate in the country, is it necessary to provide pathways for reentry to those incarcerated.
This symposium is intended to bring leaders together to forge pathways to continue GSUPEP's important work in the community.
