The Concert for 202 2023, with John Cowan, Andrea Zonn, Jody Nardone and Tom Britt, hosted by Jon Vezner
This intimate concert is a benefit to raise funds for Nashville's oldest meeting place for people who want to recover from alcoholism. All three of the performers are passionate about helping people with alcoholism find recovery, and are donating their time and talent for this concert. Homemade pie and coffee will be served.

Bassist and vocalist JOHN COWAN has a reputation for embracing a wide variety of musical styles, but hes particularly known for his soul and bluegrass work. He made his first big splash in the 1970s as a member of New Grass Revival with bandmates Sam Bush, Bela Fleck, and Pat Flynn. As a member of New Grass Revival, he helped create a sound which brought a new audience to bluegrass music. Since 2010, Cowan has been a touring member of the Doobie Brothers. Cowan has released numerous solo albums, featuring contributions by Alison Krauss, Huey Lewis, Leon Russell, and John McFee.

ANDREA ZONN is one of Nashville's most beloved musicians, both as a fiddle virtuoso and a vocalist. She played in bluegrass bands around the same time she was performing avant-garde classical music at Lincoln Center and the Library of Congress. She has been an unwavering presence in the bands of James Taylor, and her talents have enhanced the music of greats such as Vince Gill, Alison Brown, YoYo Ma, Jerry Douglas and many more. In 2005, she ventured into production, initiating the Hands Across the Water album that raised money for victims of the Indian Ocean Tsunami. In 2020,  Zonn formed The HercuLeons with long-time friend and musical collaborator John Cowan.

JODY NARDONE is an acclaimed jazz pianist, composer, and educator.
Michael McCall of Nashville Scene said it best, "Thanks to a dynamic style that can shift from the whispered beauty of Bill Evans to the percussive flights of McCoy Tyner, Nardone has emerged as one of Nashville's preeminent jazz pianists. His reputation is also blowing up nationwide, where he is receiving raves in Downbeat and Jazziz for his role in the Crimson Jazz Trio, a Nashville-to-L.A. combo led by former King Crimson drummer Ian Wallace and former Vital Information bassist Tim Landers."

TOM BRITT is a sought-after guitar player equally at home on electric guitar, steel guitar, and slide guitar. In a career dating back to the 1970s he has played with top talents including Leon Russell, Dottie West, Patty Loveless, Amy Grant, John Oates, and spent years on tour with Vince Gill. He produces recordings for his wife and has recorded his first instrumental CD. When he isn't on tour, Britt records and performs with local R&B legend Jonell Mosser and plays live with his band "Empire." He is a first call player for Nashville events and ceremonies at venues such as the Country Music Hall of Fame.
