--In our first return show since the pandemic, the gang of merry misfits, circus performers, freestyle battle rappers, comedians and more all RETURN to Humboldt to the Bayside Grange for a night of wild performance, featuring an OPEN SLAM, where YOU can sign up to win $100 or the OPEN FREESTYLE BATTLE where you can sign up to win $200 taking on some of the battle champions of the Bay Area!
The wild and irreverent underground variety show returns to Humboldt for ONE NIGHT ONLY! Tourettes Without Regrets features stunning circus performances, stand up comedy, freestyle rap battles, scorching burlesque, fire dancing, dirty haiku bouts, lyrical slam poetry, sideshow shock theater and audience interactive mayhem!
Every show features an OPEN SLAM, where YOU can sign up to perform any style from poetry, comedy or hip hop to win $100 or the OPEN FREESTYLE BATTLE where you can sign up to win $200 taking on some of the battle champions of the Bay Area!
Hosted by HBO's Def Jam Poet, NPR Storyteller and film-maker JAMIE DEWOLF (https://www.jamiedwolf.com), and comedian and burlesque performer WONDER DAVE (https://www.teamwonderdave), Tourettes Without Regrets has been dazzling audiences in the Bay Area for two decades, winning numerous audience awards and becoming the biggest outlaw variety show on the West Coast.
For this edition they're bringing the Bay's bombshell QUIN DE LA NOCHE (https://www.quindelanoche.com) from the Empire Strips Back sold out series and Hubba Hubba Revue), the notorious DIZZFROMEARLIER aka the "Mistress of Mayhem", and North Bay Cabaret's superstar, the dangerous and devilish ROXY MIRAGE! They'll be bringing the current reigning freestyle battle rap champions B NASTY, SPACEWALKER and JANE THE MESSAGE to take on all comers in head to head lyrical bouts.
The showcase also featuring local luminaries with a jaw dropping fire performance by Humboldt's own BELLA FIRE DANCE and the BELLA VITA FIRE DANCE COMPANY, as well as Humboldt's burlesque all star squad BARE ELEGANCE BURLESQUE with FELINE DIVINE, KNOTTY NEBULA and ELEKTRA GRAY doing sizzling solos and a knockout group number! The show also features the rising stand up comedy stylings of EVAN VEST, recently seen at HOODSLAM in Eureka!
