Pinocchio
The encore performances will take place March 1-23, Saturdays and Sundays at 2:00pm at The Little Theater in West Los Angeles. The grand reopening of Pinocchio will culminate with The Puppetry Faire, an afternoon of puppet making, face painting, and finger painting workshops on March 22 and 23 at 3:30pm.
LACT's Pinocchio played to packed houses at The Little Theater in December. The company decided to reprise Pinocchio for the Spring, completely revamping the production with stunning visual and magical effects reminiscent of the original animated Disney production. LACT has brought in new lights, sound, and special effects and most of the original cast is returning for the reprisal.
Ideal for children ages 3 and up, LATC's production tells the tale of Pinocchio, the little puppet with the long wooden nose who continually gets into mischief. The show is interactive and filled with dancing and creative movement, music, sound effects, and magic.
At The Puppetry Faire on the final weekend, children will learn to make puppets, finger paint on various puppetry mediums, and learn the fine art of face painting in a fun, safe, and creative environment taught by professional artists. These hands-on, interactive and enriching workshops will be limited to ten children, ages five and up, and will be presented in a festive carnival atmosphere.
