3rd Annual Run Your Tail Off...through the Watershed 5K/10K Run-Walk
Run Your Tail Off... through the Watershed 5K/10K Run-Walk provides an opportunity for you, your family and friends to enjoy a healthy, fun activity in a beautiful watershed!
The Glenn County Resource Conservation District (RCD) is a not-for-profit, special district 170(c)(1), that solely operates on donations, grants, contracts and special fundraising events. It is governed by a Board of Directors, and quality Staff, to ensure all community-based efforts help Glenn County.
The RCD helps Farmers, Ranchers and Landowners; Teachers, Educators and Parents; Local Residents and Businesses; and, Sports and Outdoor Enthusiasts with natural resource concerns and opportunities! The RCD benefits all those who live, work and play in Glenn County!
To name a few of our conservation projects and programs, we operate the Glenn County Certified Farmers' Market in both Orland and Willows, we have an active RCD Connects with Kids program, and we have developed management plans for Glenn County to address landowners' natural resource concerns. Through these efforts, the RCD has gained a great deal of respect from many who believe natural resources and stimulating the local economy is invaluable to our future.
Being able to provide these projects and programs that foster awareness of our rich agricultural heritage and bountiful natural resources is a priority for the RCD.
