Exercise Angel Thunder Symposium
Join That Others May Live Foundation and defense industry professionals in Tucson 15-17 May 2014 for Exercise Angel Thunder symposium.
Events include a tour of Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, a live rescue demonstration, a warfighter panel and a post exercise social event.
On D-M we will visit the flight line and see all of the aircraft participating in the exercise, visit the 48th Rescue Squadron and be given explanations and demonstrations of emergency equipment and visit Desert Lightening City and see the Rescue Operations Center (ROC) in action. Additionally, lunch will be catered by a local restaurant featuring the best "New Mexican" cuisine you'll find anywhere outside of Albuquerque.
We will travel via luxury coach to Florence, Arizona to observe a live personnel recovery exercise. See the Air Force's HH-60G with Guardian Angel team recover an isolated person from the remote Arizona desert, while being supported by attack and fighter aircraft.
Meet with currently serving personnel while they explain exactly how they execute their segment of the personnel recovery mission and have the opportunity for real time question and answer session.
The final event of the exercise will be a hosted social for all participants. Attend this social event at the Sheraton Tucson pool and meet with real operators and Air Force Rescue leadership.
