RHODESSA JONES & IDRIS ACKAMOOR invite you to celebrate the 35th Anniversary Season of CULTURAL ODYSSEY featuring a showcase of new works including the internationally renowned harpist and vocalist, LYRIKA HOLMES; RHODESSA JONES & THE MEDEA PROJECT: Theater for Incarcerated Women; TALK BACK OUT LOUD, a sneak preview of a new documentary film about THE MEDEA PROJECT; IDRIS ACKAMOOR & THE PYRAMIDS; and Music is the Healing Force of the Universe Community Orchestra conducted by IDRIS ACKAMOOR and featuring percussionist extraordinaire KENNETH NASH. Performances are Thursday, Friday, & Saturday, April 3rd, 4th, & 5th, 2014 - 6 PM - 11 PM with a SPECIAL GALA PARTY ON SATURDAY! All performances will be in the Buriel Clay Theater at the African American Art & Culture Complex located at 762 Fulton Street, San Francisco. Tickets are $20 - $30 with special discounts available.
